Basic Information

PE stretch film, full name polyethylene stretch wrap film, is made from high-quality linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) as the base material, combined with premium tackifiers and metallocene catalysts, processed through heating, extrusion, casting, and then rapidly cooled by quenching.

Features

Good self-adhesion: Can tightly adhere to the surface of objects after stretching without the need for additional adhesives or tying, securely wrapping items to prevent them from coming apart during transportation or storage.

High transparency: Has good clarity, making the packaged items clearly visible, facilitating the inspection of the item's condition and quantity, and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the packaging.

Good protective performance: Effectively blocks moisture and dust intrusion, protecting the packaged items from external environmental impacts. It also has excellent puncture resistance and tear resistance, preventing damage from sharp objects during handling.

Environmentally friendly and safe: Made from recyclable and eco-friendly materials, odorless and non-toxic, suitable for direct packaging of items, complying with relevant national environmental standards.

Production process: Mainly uses the casting method, involving heating the raw materials, extrusion, casting, followed by rapid cooling by quenching. The flow channel is long and narrow with a fast flow rate. The melt temperature is generally controlled between 180°C and 220°C, casting cooling temperature is controlled between 20°C and 30°C, and the winding tension is kept low, generally within 10kg, to facilitate the migration of tackifiers and reduce internal stress in the finished film.
